‘Thank you for waiting’
“The tug that pulls at her to find another way,
That’s out of the norm of society, so they say.
Defeating stereotypes that were never hers to hold,
Knowing along the lineage, she was the one to be bold.
With a wake up call, or actually a slap in the face,
She awoke to her intuitive self, with very little grace.
Learning to love herself was not the only hard task,
But also believing she was enough while removing the mask.
Perfectionism; kept her on her feet feeling stable,
But oh, now she knows without it, she is still so able.
Of moving mountains, to create a way of being,
Knowing reality is all about what she was choosing and seeing.
So she decided on something else; a different kind of narrative,
One of self trust and belief, and that is not so comparative.
There are days where she falls back, into the old ways,
A reminder she is human, strengthening the foundations that she lays.
For it’s not just about her, but her tiny human too.
If she didn’t love herself, what do you think her copycat would also do?
Inspired by her little one; motivated by her inner child,
Actioned by her adult self, in a life that can only be described as ‘wild’.
Wild; in a good way, where she chooses to be right here.
In the messy filled with gratitude; as these seasons are worth every tear.
And nothing is forever; big things are on their way,
So she’s building a vessel that will hold it and allow it to stay.
Whoever or whatever it is next, thank you for waiting.
Feeling grateful for you already, and the joy you’ll add to this life she’s creating” ❤️🔥
